From downtown Roanoke, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Roanoke Valley Metro bus, route 23, which heads towards Salem. You will need to ride the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop on Dillard Drive. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Thunder Valley at 1865 Dillard Dr, Salem, VA 24153. Follow Dillard Drive northeast until you reach the entrance.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Roanoke. Head west on Campbell Avenue until you reach 6th Street, then take a left. Continue on 6th Street which will turn into Dillard Drive as you cross into Salem. Follow Dillard Drive for about 3 miles, and you will arrive at Thunder Valley. The ride should take roughly 30-40 minutes depending on your speed.
