From the center of Old Southwest, head east on 5th Street SW towards the Roanoke River. Continue straight for about 0.4 miles. When you reach the intersection with the Roanoke River Greenway, turn left onto the Greenway path. Follow this path along the river for approximately 0.5 miles. You will see signs for the Roanoke River and Railroad Historic District. Continue until you reach 7 Old Woods Ave, where the historic district is located.
