Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Corbett. Head east on Historic Columbia River Highway (US-30) and follow the signs for the Wahkeena Falls parking area. The parking lot is located on the left side of the road. Please note that there is a parking fee of $5 per day, which you can pay at the self-service kiosk in the parking lot. Once parked, proceed to the Wahkeena Trailhead.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the TriMet bus line 77 to the Corbett stop. From the stop, you will need to walk about 1.5 miles on the Historic Columbia River Highway to reach the Wahkeena Falls parking area. Once you arrive at the parking area, head to the Wahkeena Trailhead to begin your hike to Fairy Falls.
Hiking
After reaching the Wahkeena Trailhead, follow the Wahkeena Trail (Trail #420) for approximately 0.9 miles to reach Fairy Falls. The trail is well-marked but can be steep in sections, so be prepared with proper hiking shoes. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, and be sure to take in the stunning views of the waterfall once you arrive.
