Car
From Southwest Washington, take I-5 North towards Seattle. Continue on I-5 until you reach exit 230 for WA-20 East towards Burlington. Follow WA-20 East for approximately 70 miles. You'll pass through the towns of Sedro-Woolley and Concrete. Continue on WA-20 East until you reach the entrance to North Cascades National Park. Be prepared for a scenic drive with possible stops at viewpoints along the way. Note that there may be entrance fees to the park, typically around $30 per vehicle, valid for seven days.

If you prefer to use public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Southwest Washington to Seattle. From Seattle, you can take an Amtrak train to Mount Vernon. At Mount Vernon, transfer to the Skagit Transit bus service that goes towards Concrete. From Concrete, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach North Cascades National Park, as public transportation options become limited in that area. Be sure to check the schedules in advance and allow extra time for transfers.
