Getting There

  • Public Transit

    If you're starting from the Tacoma Dome Station, board the Sound Transit Light Rail towards the University of Washington. Ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the Commerce Street Station. Once you disembark, head north on Commerce Street for two blocks until you reach 1516 Commerce St. The Travel Tacoma - Mt. Rainier Visitor Information Center will be on your left.

    If you're in the downtown area, such as near the Museum of Glass, you can walk to the Travel Tacoma - Mt. Rainier Visitor Information Center. Head east on Dock Street, then turn right onto S 15th St. Continue walking until you reach Commerce St, then turn left. The center is located at 1516 Commerce St, about a 15-minute walk from the museum.

    From the Tacoma Public Library, take Pierce Transit Bus Route 1 towards the Tacoma Mall. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the Commerce St & 15th St stop. Walk south on Commerce Street for one block, and the Travel Tacoma - Mt. Rainier Visitor Information Center will be on your right at 1516 Commerce St.
