If you're in Beckley, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Raleigh County Public Transit bus towards Lansing. The bus will take you along US-19 N. After about 30 minutes, you will reach the stop closest to the Canyon Rim Visitor Center. From there, it’s a short walk of about 0.5 miles. Exit the bus and head east on Visitor Center Rd. Follow the road until you reach the visitor center at 162 Visitor Center Rd.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Beckley. Start from the downtown area and take the bike path that leads towards the New River Gorge.
