Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Beckley, you can take the local bus service to Meadow Bridge. Start at the Beckley Transit Center located at 1000 South Kanawha St. Board the bus heading towards Meadow Bridge. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Meadow Bridge stop, walk east on Meadow Creek Rd for about 5 minutes to reach the Sandstone Visitor Center at 330 Meadow Creek Rd.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Beckley. Start at the Beckley Convention Center and head south on US-19. Follow the bike path along the highway for about 12 miles until you reach Meadow Bridge. Upon entering the town, take a left onto Meadow Creek Rd, and you will see the Sandstone Visitor Center on your right after a short distance.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking and are up for a long trek, start from downtown Beckley. Head west towards US-19 and follow the sidewalk along the road, which will lead you to Meadow Bridge. Expect to walk for approximately 3-4 hours. Once in Meadow Bridge, take a right onto Meadow Creek Rd, and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the Sandstone Visitor Center at 330 Meadow Creek Rd.

• Rideshare

  You can use rideshare services like Uber or Lyft to reach the Sandstone Visitor Center. Simply request a ride from your location in Beckley and enter the destination as 330 Meadow Creek Rd, Meadow Bridge, WV 25976. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
