Car
From the main areas of New River Gorge National Park, such as the Canyon Rim Visitor Center, head west on US-19 S. Continue for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with WV-60 W. Turn left onto WV-60 W and continue for about 8 miles. Next, turn left onto WV-41 S, which will take you closer to Clifftop. After about 6 miles, take a right onto Babcock Road. Babcock State Park will be on your left at 486 Babcock Rd, Clifftop, WV 25831. Parking is available at the park, and there is no entrance fee to access the park.

Public transportation options are limited in this rural area. However, you can take a Greyhound or local bus service to a nearby town, such as Fayetteville or Beckley. From there, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Babcock State Park.
