Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the New River Gorge Visitor Center located at 104 Main Street, Glen Jean, WV 25846. Head southeast on US-19 S for approximately 3 miles. Take the exit toward Fayetteville/US-60 E and merge onto US-60 E. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with WV-16 N. Turn left onto WV-16 N and follow it for approximately 4 miles. Concho Rim Overlook will be on your right. Look for the parking area; it can accommodate a few vehicles.

Public Transportation and Hiking
If you're using public transportation, take a bus to Oak Hill, WV. From Oak Hill, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to reach WV-16 N. Once you reach WV-16 N, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach Concho Rim Overlook. Be prepared for uneven terrain as you approach the overlook. It's recommended to wear sturdy shoes and bring water for the hike.

For those interested in biking, you can rent a bicycle in Fayetteville or Oak Hill. Start your ride on US-60 E, then head north on WV-16 N. The ride is approximately 12 miles long with some elevation gain, so ensure you are prepared for a moderate workout. Once you reach the overlook, you'll have a stunning view of the New River Gorge.
