If you're driving from the New River Gorge Visitor Center, head southeast on US-19 S towards Fayetteville for about 10 miles. Take the exit towards WV-16 S and continue for approximately 8 miles until you reach the intersection with WV-25. Turn left onto WV-25 E and follow it for about 5 miles. At the next junction, turn left onto Main St, and you will arrive at Thurmond Historic Town located at 174 Main St, Thurmond, WV 25936. There is no parking fee in the area.
