If you are already in New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, head east on US-19 from the visitor center. Continue on US-19 for about 10 miles until you reach the exit for US-60 East. Take the exit and continue on US-60 East for approximately 4 miles. Look for signs directing you to Sandstone Falls and turn left onto New River Road (County Route 26). Follow New River Road for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at the Sandstone Falls Recreation Area, where you can find parking near the entrance.
