If you're traveling by car, start on I-39 N from your location in Central Wisconsin. Follow I-39 N for approximately 100 miles until you reach I-94 E. Merge onto I-94 E and continue for about 30 miles. Take exit 310A to merge onto I-43 S toward Milwaukee. Stay on I-43 S for about 60 miles. Take exit 72B for S Superior St. Continue on S Superior St, and the marker will be on your right at the intersection with E Lincoln Ave. There is free street parking available in the area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from various locations in Central Wisconsin to Milwaukee. Once you arrive at the Milwaukee bus station, you can take the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus route 15 from the bus station to the stop at S Superior St and E Lincoln Ave. The fare for a one-way ticket on the bus is around $2.00. The historical marker is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can follow the local bike paths from central locations in Milwaukee. From downtown Milwaukee, head south towards Bay View via Kinnickinnic River Trail. Follow the trail until you reach S Superior St. The marker is located just a few blocks from the trail. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all local cycling laws.
