Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

If you are starting from downtown Milwaukee, walk to the nearest bus stop at W Wisconsin Ave & N 2nd St. Take the Milwaukee County Transit System bus route 15 (Southbound) towards the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After about 15 minutes, get off at the S 1st St & W Washington St stop. From there, walk south on S 1st St for about 5 minutes until you reach the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame & Museum located at 170 S 1st St on the 2nd floor.

  • Public Transit - Light Rail (Future Option)

Currently, Milwaukee does not have a light rail system, but if one is developed in the future, you could hypothetically take a light rail train to a nearby station such as the proposed station at 1st & Clybourn. From there, you would walk south on 1st St to reach the museum in about 10 minutes.

  • Bicycle

If you prefer to cycle, Milwaukee has a bike-sharing program called Bublr Bikes. Locate the nearest Bublr station and rent a bike. Head towards S 1st St and ride south. You will pass through scenic areas and can take a bike lane for safety. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your starting point. Lock your bike at the bike rack available outside the museum.

  • Walking

If you are within walking distance, simply navigate your way to S 1st St. From popular locations like the Milwaukee Art Museum, it’s a pleasant 25-minute walk. Head west on W Wells St, then turn right onto S 1st St. Continue walking south until you reach 170 S 1st St. The museum will be on the second floor.
