Public Transit - Bus
If you're near the Milwaukee Intermodal Station, head to the bus terminal and catch the Milwaukee County Transit System bus route 30 or 35 heading west. Get off at the 'Wells St & 8th St' stop. From there, walk west on Wells Street for about three blocks. The Milwaukee Public Museum will be on your left at 800 W Wells St.
Walking
If you're staying in downtown Milwaukee, you can easily walk to the museum. Start at the intersection of Wisconsin Ave and 8th St. Head west on Wisconsin Ave for a block, then turn right onto 8th St. Continue heading south for two blocks, then turn left onto Wells St. The museum will be on your right at 800 W Wells St.
Biking
You can rent a bike from one of the Bublr bike stations located throughout Milwaukee. From the station nearest you, head west towards Wells St. Use bike lanes where available. Once you reach Wells St, head east until you reach the museum at 800 W Wells St. Be sure to follow all traffic laws and use bike signals.
Ride Share
If you prefer to use a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft, simply request a ride to the Milwaukee Public Museum. Enter '800 W Wells St, Milwaukee, WI 53233' as your destination. Your driver will drop you off right in front of the museum entrance.
