If you're in Bay View, the most straightforward way to reach Atwater Park is by walking. Start at the intersection of South Kinnickinnic Avenue and East Oklahoma Avenue. Head north on Kinnickinnic Avenue until you reach East Lincoln Avenue. Turn left (west) onto Lincoln Avenue and continue until you reach North Oakland Avenue. Turn right (north) onto Oakland Avenue and walk until you reach East Capitol Drive. At this intersection, you will find the bus stop for the Milwaukee County Transit System.

Take the Milwaukee County Transit System bus number 30 (Oakland Avenue route). Board the bus at the stop on East Capitol Drive. The bus will take you north towards Shorewood.
