From the East Side, head south on North Farwell Avenue towards East North Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles. Once you reach East North Avenue, turn left and walk towards the Milwaukee River. You will arrive at the Milwaukee RiverWalk | Downtown’s East Bank, which is located at N Riverwalk Way. Look for signs directing you to the RiverWalk as you approach the waterfront.

Public Transit - Bus
If you prefer public transportation, you can catch the Milwaukee County Transit System bus. Look for Bus Line 30 at the nearest bus stop on North Farwell Avenue. Board the bus heading towards Downtown. Stay on for about 10 minutes, and disembark at the stop near East Wells Street. From there, walk east towards the Milwaukee RiverWalk, which is just a few blocks away. The bus fare is $2.25.

For a scenic route, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs available in the East Side area. Head south on North Farwell Avenue, then take a right on East North Avenue, and continue towards the Milwaukee River. The RiverWalk is easily accessible by bike, and there are bike racks available for parking once you arrive.
