From Bay View, head to the nearest bus stop, which is on Kinnickinnic Ave. Board the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) Route 15 bus heading towards 'Mayfair'. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'State & Wells' stop. From there, walk west on Wells Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the Milwaukee Public Museum at 800 W Wells St.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike-share program in Bay View. Start by heading north on Kinnickinnic Ave. Continue on Kinnickinnic Ave until you reach the bridge over the Kinnickinnic River. Then, head west on Lincoln Ave, which turns into W Washington St. Follow this road until you reach N 8th St, then turn left. Continue on N 8th St until you reach Wells St, and turn right. The Milwaukee Public Museum will be on your left at 800 W Wells St. The ride should take around 25-30 minutes.
