Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From downtown Racine, head to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Main St and 6th St. Take the Route 20 bus towards Milwaukee. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes, and disembark at the stop for the Milwaukee Intermodal Station. From there, transfer to the Route 30 bus heading towards the Historic Third Ward. Get off at the stop on N Harbor Dr. You will see Henry Maier Festival Park just a short walk away.

    If you are near the Racine Zoo, head west on 12th St until you reach Washington Ave. Turn left and continue walking until you hit N Main St. Turn right on Main St and follow it down to the bus terminal. From the terminal, take the Route 20 bus to Milwaukee, then transfer to Route 30 as described above.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Racine. Start from the Racine Harbor, and ride north on the bike path along the lakefront. Continue on the Lake Michigan Path until you reach the Milwaukee city limits. Once in Milwaukee, follow the signs towards the Historic Third Ward. The park is located right at 200 N Harbor Dr. It should take approximately 1.5 hours to bike there.
