Car
If you are traveling by car within Sioma Ngwezi National Park, head towards the park's main entrance. Follow the main road that leads through the park, keeping an eye out for wildlife. After about 30 kilometers (approximately 18.6 miles), you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which is signposted for Lizauli Traditional Village. Continue on this road for another 15 kilometers (approximately 9.3 miles), and you will arrive at Lizauli Traditional Village. Make sure to have a detailed map or GPS navigation as the roads can be unmarked in some areas. Parking is available at the village entrance, but please be cautious of wildlife crossing the roads.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will first need to find a local taxi or minibus that operates within Sioma Ngwezi National Park. Ask locals for the nearest taxi stand. Once you are on a minibus heading towards the main park entrance, inform the driver that you want to go to Lizauli Traditional Village. After approximately 1 hour of travel, the driver will drop you off at the fork in the road where you need to turn left towards the village. From there, you may have to walk for about 15 kilometers (approximately 9.3 miles) to reach the village, or you can hire a local guide or taxi for this last leg of the journey. Ensure you have enough cash as some drivers might not accept card payments.

If you are already near Lizauli Traditional Village and prefer to walk, start from the nearest accommodation or camp within Sioma Ngwezi National Park. Be sure to carry plenty of water, wear sturdy shoes, and be prepared for the weather as it can change rapidly. Depending on your exact location, you may need to walk anywhere from 5 to 15 kilometers (approximately 3 to 9.3 miles). Follow the main trails leading towards the village, and ask locals for directions if you are unsure. Always be cautious of wildlife, especially if walking during early morning or late afternoon.
