Getting There

  • Car

    Starting from Chimanimani National Park, head northwest on the A14 road towards the town of Chimanimani. Continue on the A14 for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R4 road near the town of Mutare. Turn right onto the R4 road and follow the signs towards Nyanga. Continue on the R4 for about 60 kilometers. As you approach Nyanga, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Nyanga National Park. The park entrance is located at HQ97+M8F, Sanyatwe. Ensure to pay the entrance fee, which is approximately $10 USD per vehicle.

    From Chimanimani, take a shared taxi or minibus heading to Mutare. The fare is around $5 USD and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Mutare, find a minibus or shared taxi that goes to Nyanga; this should cost about $3 USD and typically takes around 1.5 hours.
