Rocca Paolina

We will start from Piazza Italia to go down to the Rocca Paolina, an entire underground district buried by the papal will that will transport us back and forth in time, from the Etruscans to Garibaldi and La Belle Epoque. We will see the Porta Marzia, ancient southern entrance to the Etruscan city with remains inscriptions and papal coat of arms.

Corso Vannucci

Then we will continue to the living room of the city, Corso Vannucci, dedicated to Perugino, a painter whose masterpiece (the Collegio del Cambio) remains unique throughout Italy: it is a 1500 bank completely frescoed by the artist.
