More about Ahmad Gan

Ahmad was born and raised in Kluang, Malaysia, where he spent his early years surrounded by the rich flavors and vibrant culture of his homeland. After completing his education, he felt a pull to explore the world, leading him to Dublin, Ireland, over two decades ago. Initially, he worked various jobs to make ends meet, but his passion for cooking never waned. Eventually, he opened a small Malaysian restaurant in Dublin, which has become a local favorite. He met his wife, Aoife, at a local book club, and they have a daughter named Róisín.
