Ahmad was born and raised in Kluang, Malaysia, where he spent his early years surrounded by the rich flavors and vibrant culture of his homeland. After completing his education, he felt a pull to explore the world, leading him to Dublin, Ireland, over two decades ago. Initially, he worked various jobs to make ends meet, but his passion for cooking never waned. Eventually, he opened a small Malaysian restaurant in Dublin, which has become a local favorite. He met his wife, Aoife, at a local book club, and they have a daughter named Róisín. While the restaurant keeps him busy, Ahmad finds joy in sharing his travel experiences through his blog on Evendo, a hobby that connects him to his roots and allows him to explore new destinations.
