Annah was born and raised in Gweru, Zimbabwe, where she developed a deep appreciation for her country's rich culture and natural beauty. After marrying David, a Canadian teacher she met while he was volunteering in Zimbabwe, she moved to Stratford, Canada. While she loves her new home, she misses Zimbabwe dearly and tries to stay connected to her roots through cooking traditional dishes, celebrating Zimbabwean holidays, and sharing stories with her daughter. Her blog on Evendo is a way for her to share her love of travel and her unique perspective as a Zimbabwean expat.

    Exploring the Matobo National Park in Zimbabwe was a true adventure. Hiking through the balancing rocks, tracking rhinos on foot with experienced guides, and learning about the ancient San rock art was exhilarating and deeply humbling.
