Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Prattville, start at the Prattville City Hall located at 101 West Main Street. Head south on South Washington Street towards Main Street. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto East Main Street. Continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with South Memorial Drive (US-31). Cross the intersection and head south on South Memorial Drive. After about 2 miles, you will reach the Montgomery city line. Continue straight for another 2 miles, and you will arrive at 1010 Forest Ave, Montgomery, AL 36106, where W.A. Gayle Planetarium is located.

    From Prattville, take the Autauga County Transit (ACT) bus service. Board the ACT bus from the nearest stop to your location. The bus will take you to Montgomery. Make sure to ask the driver for the correct route that goes to Montgomery. Once you arrive in Montgomery, get off at the stop closest to Forest Avenue. From there, walk east on Forest Avenue for about 0.3 miles, and you'll find W.A. Gayle Planetarium at 1010 Forest Ave.
