    If you are driving, begin your journey by heading southwest on AL-75 from your location in Sand Mountain. Continue for approximately 15 miles. Then merge onto I-65 South toward Montgomery. Drive for about 20 miles, taking exit 228 for US-31 toward Calera. Continue on US-31 South for about 5 miles until you come to the intersection with Confederate Parkway. Turn left onto Confederate Parkway and follow the signs for Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park, which is about 2 miles ahead on your left. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle upon entry.
