Walking
From the Old Bazaar, head uphill towards the highest point in the city center. Follow the cobblestone streets, passing traditional Ottoman houses. The obelisk is located near the site of the first Gjirokastër school. The walk is steep in places and takes approximately 15-20 minutes from the center of the Old Bazaar. No costs are associated with walking.
Taxi
Taxis are available throughout Gjirokastër. A taxi from the city center (e.g., near Çerçiz Square) to the obelisk will cost approximately 300-500 Lekë. The ride takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis can be found near major intersections or arranged through your accommodation.
