If you are driving from Pogradec, head north on the SH4 road towards the border with North Macedonia. Continue on SH4 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the border crossing at Qafe Thane. After crossing into North Macedonia, follow the signs towards Velgoshti. The Church of St. Clement of Ohrid is located approximately 5 kilometers from the border, at the coordinates 41.1339818 latitude and 20.8371344 longitude. There is no parking fee at the church.

From Pogradec, take a bus to the nearest town with connections to Velgoshti. Typically, you can catch a bus from the central bus station in Pogradec. Buses to the border area run frequently, costing around 200 ALL (approximately 2 USD). Once you reach the border, you will need to walk across, and then take a local bus or taxi to Velgoshti. The fare for a local bus from the border to Velgoshti is about 100 MKD (approximately 2 USD). After arriving in Velgoshti, you can either walk to the church (about 20 minutes) or take a taxi.
