From Saranda, head to the main bus station located near the waterfront. Look for a bus heading towards Gjirokastër. The buses typically run every hour. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. When you arrive at Gjirokastër, ask the driver to drop you off at the center of town. From there, you can take a taxi or walk to the Archaeological Park of Antigonea, which is about 10 minutes away.

If you prefer a faster option, take a taxi from Saranda to Gjirokastër. You can find taxis at various points around Saranda, especially near the waterfront. The journey by taxi will take around 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Gjirokastër, tell the driver to take you directly to the Archaeological Park of Antigonea.

Walking (from Gjirokastër center)
If you find yourself in the center of Gjirokastër after arriving by bus or taxi, the Archaeological Park of Antigonea is a short walk. Head east on Rruga Koto Hoxha, continue straight until you reach the main road (Rruga Gjirokastër). Turn left and walk for about 10 minutes. Follow the signs to the park, which will be located on your left.
