From the center of El Serrat, start walking towards the main road (CG-3). Head south on the main road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for the hiking trail to Llacs de Tristaina. Follow the signs that indicate 'Estany Primer' for the most direct route.

Once you reach the trailhead, the hike to Llacs de Tristaina begins. The trail is well-marked and follows the river. Initially, it is a gradual ascent, and you will encounter several viewpoints along the way. After about 1 hour of hiking, you will arrive at the first lake, Estany Primer.
