Start your journey at the center of El Serrat, near the bus stop. From there, take the path that leads northwest, following the signs towards 'Estanys de Tristaina'. After about 15 minutes of steady walking, you'll come across a fork in the path. Take the left path, which is well-marked and leads towards the mountains. Continue following this path for approximately 1 hour, enjoying the scenic views along the way.

As you continue on the path, you'll begin to ascend gradually. Keep an eye out for markers indicating the route to Estanys de Tristaina. After about 30 minutes of hiking, you'll reach an area with stunning views of the surrounding valleys. This is a great spot to take a break. After resting, continue on the trail for another 30 minutes, which will lead you directly to the lakes. The path may become steeper, so be prepared for a bit of a workout!
