Getting There

  • Driving

    From Canillo, drive along the CS-240 road towards Coll d'Ordino. The Mirador Roc del Quer is located approximately 6.5 km from Canillo. Look for a large parking area on the left side of the road. Parking is free. From the parking area, follow the walking path for about 400 meters to reach the viewpoint platform. Note that access to the viewpoint may require a €5 admission fee during certain times of the year.

  • Public Transport

    From Andorra la Vella, take bus L4 towards Canillo. The cost is approximately €1.90 per way. Alight at the Canillo bus stop. From Canillo, during certain times of the year, a shuttle bus service is available from Canillo to the Roc del Quer viewpoint for a combined ticket price of €14.50, which includes the bus transport, the Tibetan Bridge, and the viewpoint platform. Alternatively, taxis are available in Canillo, but they may charge the same price as from Andorra la Vella (approximately €20-€30 each way).

Inaugurated in July 2016, this viewpoint features a 20-meter walkway, with 12 meters suspended in the air, providing visitors with a thrilling sense of levitation above the valley. The platform offers unobstructed views of the Montaup and Valira d'Orient valleys, stretching from Soldeu to Encamp. Part of the walkway has a transparent glass floor, enhancing the feeling of height and suspension. At the end of the platform, you'll find a sculpture of a seated thinker by artist Miguel Ángel González, inviting reflection on the surrounding natural beauty. To reach the Mirador Roc del Quer, head along the CS-240 road towards Coll d'Ordino. The viewpoint is located at kilometer 6.5, where a large parking area is available. From the parking lot, it's a short, 400-meter walk to the platform. Along the way, you'll encounter the "Self-generating Structures," a group of sculptures created in 1991 by Mexican sculptor Jorge Dubon, symbolizing humanity's connection with the mountains. The viewpoint is open from June to November, offering free access during the winter months. In the summer, pre-booking and payment are required. The site is easily accessible and provides an unforgettable experience of Andorra's natural grandeur.
