    From Coyhaique, drive south on the Carretera Austral (Route 7) approximately 315 km. 17 km before arriving in Cochrane, turn left (east) at the Baker entrance crossing. Follow this road for 11 km to reach the Valle Chacabuco sector and park headquarters. Note that portions of the Carretera Austral are unpaved.

    Take a bus from Coyhaique to Cochrane (Don Carlos, Águilas Patagónicas, Sao Pablo). From Cochrane, local transport may be available to the park entrance, or consider hiring a taxi. Buses also run from Coyhaique or Cochrane to Chile Chico (Buses Aldea). From Chile Chico, take Route X-753 for 65 km to reach the Jeinimeni sector. Bus fares from Coyhaique to Cochrane typically range from $15.000 to $25.000 CLP.
