Getting There

Car
From Cerro Tronador, head northwest on Ruta Nacional 40 (RN40) towards El Bolsón. Continue for about 40 km until you reach the junction with Ruta Provincial 83 (RP83). Turn left onto RP83 and follow the signs for Lago López. After approximately 15 km, you'll see a sign for Mirador Bahía Lopez. Turn right onto the access road, which leads you directly to the parking area near the viewpoint. Note that there may be a small parking fee.
