    From Eastern Argentina, you will need to drive to the town of El Calafate. This is a significant hub for travelers in Patagonia. From El Calafate, take the Route 40 south towards the border with Chile. Stop at the border crossing at 'Paso Internacional Los Huemules' to complete immigration procedures. After crossing into Chile, continue on Route 9 towards Puerto Natales, which will take approximately 2 hours.
