Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Calle 25 de Mayo. Turn right onto Calle 25 de Mayo. After a few blocks, you will see signs for Punta Walichu. Follow the signs as you walk for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the entrance of Punta Walichu - Reserva Natural y Arqueológica.

    From any point in El Calafate, you can take a taxi to Punta Walichu. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Punta Walichu - Reserva Natural y Arqueológica'. The taxi can take you directly to the entrance, which is located at PQ4X+53, Z9405 El Calafate. The ride should take about 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in El Calafate. Begin your ride from the town center and head down Avenida del Libertador towards the south. After about 1 km, turn right onto Calle 25 de Mayo and continue following the signs for Punta Walichu. The total distance is approximately 3 km and should take about 15-20 minutes by bike.
