From the main square (Plaza de los Pioneros) in El Calafate, head south on Avenida del Libertador General José de San Martín. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida Costanera. Turn left onto Avenida Costanera and continue walking along the waterfront for another 800 meters. You will see the entrance to Reserva Laguna Nimez on your right at Av. Costanera Pres. Néstor Carlos Kirchner 2075.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in El Calafate. Start at the main square (Plaza de los Pioneros) and ride south on Avenida del Libertador General José de San Martín. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. At the intersection with Avenida Costanera, turn left. Ride along the scenic waterfront for about 800 meters until you spot the entrance to Reserva Laguna Nimez on your right at Av. Costanera Pres. Néstor Carlos Kirchner 2075.
