If you are traveling by car, start from the center of El Chaltén or El Calafate. Make your way onto Route 40, heading south. Follow the signs for Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. After approximately 80 km, turn onto Route 11, which leads directly to the park entrance. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon entering the park, drive for another 14 km to reach the designated parking area for Mirador Perito Moreno. Note that there is an entrance fee for the park, which is approximately $10 USD per person.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from El Calafate to Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. Buses leave regularly from El Calafate's main bus terminal, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee of around $10 USD. After entering the park, you can opt for a shuttle service that runs to the Mirador Perito Moreno, which is an additional cost of approximately $5 USD each way.
