Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of El Calafate. Take National Route 40 (Ruta 40) heading north for about 80 kilometers, then turn onto Provincial Route 11 (Ruta 11) towards the Los Glaciares National Park entrance. Continue along Ruta 11 until you reach the park entrance, where you'll need to pay an entrance fee (around $15 USD). Once inside, follow the signs to the Minitrekking Tour starting point, which is located at the base of the Moreno Glacier.

  From El Calafate, take a bus to Los Glaciares National Park. Several companies operate this route, and tickets can be purchased at the bus terminal in El Calafate.
