Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Bariloche city center, take Bus No. 20 towards Llao Llao. Get off at the Puerto Pañuelo stop, located approximately 25 km from Bariloche. From Puerto Pañuelo, walk along the Circuito Chico road for about 1 km to reach the Llao Llao Information Center, which marks the eastern entrance to the Sendero de los Arrayanes. The bus fare is paid using a SUBE card. As of July 2025, a single bus fare within Bariloche is approximately AR$ 200-300. It is recommended to check the current bus schedules, as they may vary depending on the season.

  • Walking

    If you are already near Puerto Pañuelo or the Hotel Llao Llao, the Sendero de los Arrayanes is easily accessible by foot. From Puerto Pañuelo, follow the Circuito Chico road for approximately 1 km to the east. The entrance to the trail is clearly marked by the Llao Llao Information Center. Alternatively, if you are coming from the Hotel Llao Llao, walk back down the Circuito Chico road for about 300 meters. The trail entrance will be on your left. There are no costs involved if you choose to walk.

  • Car

    If driving, follow the Circuito Chico road (Av. Bustillo) to Km 25, approximately 25 km from Bariloche. Pass Puerto Pañuelo, and after 1 km, you will see the entrance to the Llao Llao Information Center and a parking area on the left. Parking is free. From the parking area, the Sendero de los Arrayanes begins. Alternatively, you can park at the paid parking lot in Puerto Pañuelo and walk 1 km to the east along the Circuito Chico road to the trailhead. Parking costs vary but expect to pay around AR$ 100-200 per hour.
