If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Flagstaff. Head south on S San Francisco St, then take a left onto W Route 66. Follow Route 66 until you reach S Milton Rd, where you will take a right. Continue straight; this road will lead you to AZ-89A. Follow AZ-89A towards Sedona. The Oak Creek Canyon Natural Area will be on your right. Make sure to stay on the bike lane for your safety.
