    The Verde Valley Archaeology Center is located at 460 Finnie Flat Rd, Camp Verde, AZ 86322. From I-17, take exit 287 for AZ-260 toward Camp Verde. Head east on AZ-260 for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Finnie Flat Road. The museum will be on your right. There is a free 50-space parking lot in front of the museum.

The Verde Valley Archaeology Center and Museum is a cultural hub dedicated to preserving and interpreting the rich archaeological history of the Verde Valley. Founded in 2010, the center's mission is to protect archaeological sites and collections, curate local collections, and make them accessible for research and education. The museum showcases artifacts from the Paleo-Indians (11,500 to 9,000 BC) through the current Native American presence of the Yavapai-Apache Nation. Exhibits include the Sinagua culture (650 to 1450), with artifacts from the Honanki Heritage Site, and adornments worn by the Sinagua people. The museum also features archaeology galleries, an archeoastronomy gallery, a Yavapai-Apache Nation gallery, and a fine-art gallery. Visitors can explore exhibits of ancient pottery, tools, and textiles, as well as the Paul Dyck Collection of 40,000 artifacts. The center also has a Native American Heritage Garden with a pathway featuring exhibits of Native American hunting gear, a wickiup, and a garden of plants used by native peoples. The center offers educational programs, guided tours, lectures, and hands-on activities.
