Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, ensure you have a reliable GPS or map application. From the city of Prescott, head east on AZ-69 E for approximately 6 miles. Take the exit toward AZ-89 N and merge onto AZ-89 N. Continue on AZ-89 N for about 10 miles, then turn right onto Walker Road. Follow Walker Road for about 4 miles until you reach the Prescott Circle Trailhead, which has parking available. Make sure to check for any parking fees or requirements before you go.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are limited, but you can take the Yavapai Regional Transit bus service. You will need to check the latest schedule as it may vary. Board the bus at a designated stop in Prescott and take it to the closest stop near AZ-89. From there, you will have to walk approximately 2 miles to reach the Prescott Circle Trailhead. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the walk.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Prescott. Start at the Prescott Courthouse Plaza and head north on Montezuma Street, which will take you to AZ-89. Follow the same route as cars once you reach AZ-89 N. This bike ride is approximately 10 miles and will take you directly to the Prescott Circle Trailhead. Ensure you have a helmet, and check for bike racks at your destination.

• Walking

  For adventurous hikers, you can walk from Prescott to the Prescott Circle Trail. This is a long trek of approximately 10-12 miles, depending on your starting point. Follow the same route as the cars by walking along AZ-89 N, but be cautious of traffic. It is advisable to start early in the morning and bring along plenty of water and snacks.
