    From Prescott, AZ, take AZ-89 N for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Granite Basin Road (Forest Road 373) and continue for about 5 miles. The road will lead you to the Granite Mountain Wilderness area. Keep an eye out for trailhead signs as you approach.

  • Public Transportation + Hiking

    Take a public bus or shuttle service to Prescott Valley and then transfer to a taxi or rideshare service to get to Granite Basin Road (Forest Road 373). Once you arrive at the junction of Granite Basin Road, you can hike the remaining distance of approximately 2 miles to reach the main trails of the Granite Mountain Wilderness.
