Car
From the center of Red Rock Country, head east on AZ-179 towards Sedona. Continue on AZ-179 until it merges with AZ-89A. Follow AZ-89A for approximately 16 miles until you reach the junction with I-17. Take the exit to merge onto I-17 N towards Flagstaff. After about 40 miles, take exit 340A to merge onto I-40 E towards Albuquerque. Continue on I-40 for about 80 miles, then take exit 286 for AZ-180 toward Holbrook. Turn left onto AZ-180 and follow it for about 15 miles, where you will see signs directing you to Petrified Forest National Park. The entrance to the park is located at the intersection of AZ-180 and the park entrance road.
