Getting There

  • Car

    From Saguaro National Park, head west on E Saguaro National Park West Entrance Rd toward N Kinney Rd. Take a right onto N Kinney Rd, continuing until it merges with W Ajo Hwy (AZ-86). Follow W Ajo Hwy for approximately 11 miles. Merge onto I-10 N toward Phoenix and continue for about 6 miles. Take exit 254 for AZ-77 N toward Tucson. After about 2 miles, merge onto E River Rd. Continue for about 4 miles and then turn left onto N Coachline Blvd. El Rio Preserve will be on your right at 10190 N Coachline Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85743.

    From Saguaro National Park, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest public transit stop. Once at the stop, take Bus Route 6 (Rita Ranch) from the nearest stop on Saguaro National Park's perimeter. Ride the bus until you reach the intersection of E River Rd and N Oracle Rd. Transfer to Bus Route 1 (Eastside) and continue to the stop at N Coachline Blvd. El Rio Preserve is a short walk from the bus stop.
