From Sedona, head to the nearest bus stop on Highway 89A. Take the Verde Lynx public bus towards Camp Verde. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Camp Verde stop closest to Finnie Flat Rd. From there, walk south on Finnie Flat Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Verde Valley Archaeology Center and Museum at 460 Finnie Flat Rd.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Sedona. From the rental location, head south on Highway 89A, then take a right onto Finnie Flat Rd. The ride will take about 1.5 hours depending on your pace. The Verde Valley Archaeology Center and Museum will be located on your left at 460 Finnie Flat Rd.

If you are up for an adventure, you can walk to the Verde Valley Archaeology Center and Museum. Start from the center of Sedona and head south on Highway 89A. This is a long walk of approximately 12 miles, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. After about 3 hours of walking, you will reach Finnie Flat Rd. Turn left and walk about 0.5 miles to the center located at 460 Finnie Flat Rd.
