Several Sun Tran bus routes serve Kennedy Park. Routes 11 and 23 have stops near Kennedy Lake. From the nearest bus stops at Mission/Ajo (Ne) or Ajo/Mission (Se), it's approximately a 12-14 minute walk to the park. As of July 2025, Sun Tran rides are fare-free.

If driving, Kennedy Park is located at 3357 S La Cholla Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85713. From I-19, take the Ajo Way exit and head west. Turn right onto La Cholla Blvd, and the park will be on your left. There are several parking lots available within the park. Parking is free.
