Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from any location within Tucson Mountain Park and head east towards S Kinney Rd. Continue on S Kinney Rd until you reach W Ajo Way. Turn left onto W Ajo Way and continue until you reach S La Cholla Blvd. Turn right onto S La Cholla Blvd and continue for about 3 miles. Kennedy Park will be on your left at 3357 S La Cholla Blvd. There is parking available at the park entrance.

    For those using public transportation, you will first need to get to the nearest bus stop in Tucson Mountain Park. Use the Sun Tran bus service. Check the Sun Tran website for routes that connect to the nearest stop. Once you are at a bus stop, board the bus heading towards downtown Tucson. Transfer to Route 18 (La Cholla) at the appropriate transfer station. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop closest to Kennedy Park, which is on S La Cholla Blvd. After getting off, walk a short distance south to reach the park entrance.
