Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Barrio Viejo, head south on S 6th Ave. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach W 18th St. Turn right onto W 18th St and walk two blocks until you reach S Meyer Ave. Turn left onto S Meyer Ave, and you will find Teatro Carmen at 380 S Meyer Ave on your right.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From any location in Barrio Viejo, locate the nearest bus stop. You can take the Sun Tran bus route 3. Board the bus heading towards the 'S 6th Ave & W Broadway Blvd' stop. Once you arrive at the stop, exit and walk southwest on S 6th Ave for about 0.2 miles. Then, turn left onto W 18th St and walk toward S Meyer Ave. Turn left onto S Meyer Ave, and Teatro Carmen will be at 380 S Meyer Ave on your right. A one-way bus fare is $1.75.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike-sharing service. Start from any point in Barrio Viejo and head south on S 6th Ave. After approximately 0.3 miles, take a right onto W 18th St. Continue for two blocks until you reach S Meyer Ave. Turn left onto S Meyer Ave, and you will see Teatro Carmen at 380 S Meyer Ave. Be sure to follow local traffic rules and wear a helmet for safety. Rental costs vary but expect to pay around $10 per hour.
