From Downtown Tucson, head east on E Congress St toward S 6th Ave. Continue on E Congress St for about 0.6 miles until you reach S 4th Ave. Turn left onto S 4th Ave and walk about 0.3 miles. You will reach E Broadway Blvd. Turn right and walk east on E Broadway Blvd for another 0.7 miles until you reach N Alvernon Way. Turn left onto N Alvernon Way, and the Tucson Botanical Gardens will be on your left at 2150 N Alvernon Way.

From Downtown Tucson, walk to the nearest Sun Tran bus stop located at 6th Ave and Congress St. Take bus route 3 (Eastbound) toward the 'Eastside Transfer' station. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop on E Broadway Blvd and N Alvernon Way. From there, the Tucson Botanical Gardens is a short 5-minute walk to the north along N Alvernon Way.
