Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Jonesboro, such as the Craighead County Courthouse, head east on Washington Avenue. Continue onto E Highland Drive, then turn left onto Aggie Road. The campus will be on your right. Walking from downtown Jonesboro to the A-State campus takes approximately 30-40 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    Jonesboro Economical Transport (JET) provides bus service throughout the city, including the A-State campus. Several bus routes serve the university, with stops at the First National Bank Arena and the Student Union. A single ride costs $1.25, or $0.90 for students with an A-State ID. Buses operate from 5:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. on Saturdays; there is no service on Sundays.

  • Driving

    From downtown Jonesboro, take US-49 N/Red Wolf Boulevard. Turn left onto Aggie Road. The university will be on your left. Parking is available on campus in various lots. During special events, paid parking may be available south of the First National Bank Arena and Tomlinson Stadium for $10. Metered parking and garage parking are also available for visitors. Event parking permits cost $3.00 per day. Parkmobile is available for payment in certain parking areas.
